Strives to establish and maintain a supportive Hermandad for students through the Nuevo Hombre Ideology 

"In 1989, Hermanos Unidos through loyalty and commitment was founded by and for Chicano and Latino young men. Their mission was to build a mens brotherhood, an Hermandad, to break down internal barriers and foster excellence in academics and leadership. Unity within HU, guided by philosophical pillars, works to create a Familia to support each Hermano in his goals to graduate, thrive, and be a respected leader. There are more than 500 Hermanos worldwide."
