Junior Trainer - Operations Team

As such, we are seeking a trainer for our diverse and complex Operations team. Reporting directly to the Training and Performance Manager you will manage the training of new and existing Operations staff to ensure that they are each capable of exceeding customer expectations while adhering to current Best Practice in all processes. You will help design and maintain all training documentation, to promote a continuous improvement environment and foster team spirit and individual responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orientations for Operations staff, trainings, and maintain training plans.
• Provide on the job training to Staff on a consistent basis.
• Ensure that all materials in the Training Center are up to date and accessible for staff.
• Collaborate with SMEs regarding coordination of training.
• Monitor the floor consistently to ensure that all processes are being followed according to Company standards.
• Provide troubleshooting techniques when necessary.
• Lead demonstrations in the Training Center.
• Provide feedback to the Training and Performance Manager regarding all training related issues.
• Interface with Management regarding the status of training for hires.
• Provide feedback to Training and Performance Manager and Human Resources regarding any performance-related issues.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• BS/BA
• Experience in high end luxury fashion/retail industry
• Knowledge in designing and delivering training, ideally in a customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to recognize and assess skill deficiencies in all areas of Operations including Distribution, Shipping, and Inventory Departments.
• Articulate and well-versed in interpersonal communication.
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working and delivering under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with working hours and shift patterns
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards work, colleagues, managers and the company.
