GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify as an Officer - Active Duty or Reserve - you must:

    * Be a U.S. citizen

    * Be a graduate or current student of a four-year college or university (type of degree accepted varies by specialty)

    * Be at least 19 years old (maximum age differs depending on specialty)

    * Achieve a qualifying score on the Officer Aptitude Rating (OAR) exam

    * Meet Navy physical standards

    * Demonstrate character, leadership and determination

STUDENT OFFERS

If youre currently an undergraduate student: You could get up to $155,000 while still in school through the Navy Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program (BDCP).

 

For up to three years prior to graduation, BDCP provides a regular monthly income ranging from $2,376 to $4,300. This includes a generous military salary. A food allowance. Plus a housing allowance that is based on the location of the school you attend. Theres even comprehensive health-care coverage on top of that.
