Be a U.S. citizen
Be at least 18 years of age and no older than 40 upon joining
Have a high school diploma (GED certificates valid in some instances)
Meet Navy Reserve physical standards
Get a qualifying score on the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) exam
