POSITION SUMMARY

The Engineer is responsible to support the areas of process development, process implementation, process improvement, and cost reductions.  The individual will serve as a technical resource for maintenance, quality, product engineering and manufacturing; and will work within teams to ensure the most effective operation of our processes.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Troubleshoot problems encountered in current processes.- Generate ideas and complete actions to reduce costs.- Work on issues to eliminate problems by identifying root cause and provide solutions.- Ensure that all processes are documented.- Assist in product launches.

 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
2. Minimum 3 years related work experience; experience in the automotive industry or in a global manufacturing company preferred.
3. Must have good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
4. Professional verbal and written communication skills essential.
5. Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
6. Electrical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with at least 2 years experience in the following:
   
   • Siemens Controllers
   • Micro-logics
   • Allen Bradley
   • Fanuc Robots
   • Fanuc CNC
   • Rockwell Control Logix
   • Powder Metal work experience a must
