We are currently seeking Senior Associate Auditors/Accountants with TS/SCI clearances specifically for our Federal Intelligence Cluster, to join us in the Washington, DC office. Financial Management professionals help clients align their finance organization with the strategies and needs of their businesses. They help clients improve financial and accounting processes, analysis, operations, controls and performance, budgeting and forecasting, financial closing, financial and management reporting and shared services. Our professionals bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient financial management processes. Responsibilities: • Review and evaluate federal financial statements and transaction flows, financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including internal controls for clients in the Intelligence Community • Prepare financial statements and research accounting and auditing topics • Perform or review account analysis and troubleshooting accounting balance, transaction or process issues • Develop briefing papers based on the results of review containing recommendations for improvement • Apply audit tests to samples of transactions or processes to evaluate internal control environments • Analyze business processes and assist in developing gap analysis, process flows and recommendations for process improvement related to financial reporting • Supervise and review work performed by other staff and interacting with engagement team on client and team matters Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university • Active TS/SCI clearance; CI or FS polygraph preferred • Three years of experience working with federal financial statement auditing, internal controls compliance, and/or federal financial statement preparation and analysis • Substantive experience with GAO, DoD/IG, PCAOB and Yellow Book standards • CPA and/or CGFM designation preferred KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
