Job Description
- Responsible for pro-active direct marketing of loans to investors, both local and national.
- Prepare offering memorandums and source/vet new investors
- Work with account officers to indentify loan sales candidates at an early stage.
- Maintain a current pipeline of assets to sell.
- Coordinate sales transaction including, but are not limited to, file review and selection of marketable loans, review of offers from potential investors, coordinate due diligence of loans, coordinate drafting and negotiation of legal agreements, coordinate settlement date items.
- Prepare summary memos of loan sale activities for senior management
- Compile data tapes for non-performing loans
- Prepare Asset Summary Reports for marketing of non-performing loans.
- Serve as liaison with investors with respect to the servicing of sold loans, especially problem loans and coordinating requests and information transfer to the investor or business units.
- Retrieve, manipulate and compile data into various usable management reports.
- Ability to take project lead on special projects such as gathering and imaging of files, oversee the implementation and on-going maintenance of online loan sales platform
Undergraduate degree in Finance or related business major. 5 years commercial real estate and construction lending experience to include creating visual presentations and and assembling professional marketing packages required. This position also requires excellent oral and written communication skills with advanced computer/database management skills. Experience with negotiations, workouts and special assets is a plus. MBA is preferred.
