Vice President, Commercial Services Division

JK Moving & Storage, a locally based worldwide relocation services organization seeks senior-level, dynamicVice President to lead all aspects of our Commercial Divisions operational performance, business development, financial reporting, and profitability. Working extensively with the Operations, Accounting, Administrative, and Sales teams, the GM assumes full accountability for all aspects of the Divisions success and management. This key-level position is included as part of the Senior Management team for the organization and assumes full accountability for financial, budgeting, pricing, and forecasting for the Divisional Accounting & A/R.

TheVP manages daily and strategic initiatives to develop the Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Sales staff (5 direct reports and 200+employees) while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Working collaboratively with the Training, and Safety/Compliance Managers to maintain and develop safety culture among all employees, the VP coordinates with shared services Divisions to ensure that all areas are running efficiently and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

Seven + years of Operations experience relocation services a plus

Extensive background in operations, logistics, technical automation, and financial accounting.

Strong organizational and leadership skills consistent with a multifaceted work environment.

Detail oriented and customer focused.

Ability to troubleshoot operational problems.

Familiar with applicable Federal, State and Local regulatory agency requirements for handling, storage and transportation of goods.
