Orange County Community College is a fully accredited community college with approximately 6,000 students and off-site centers in Orange County, NY, 70 miles north of New York City and 90 miles south of Albany.

DUTIES IN BRIEF

Primary teaching responsibility for all levels of computer science and computer information technology. Secondary teaching duties in cyber security.

Position may require a wide range of professional responsibilities and activities, including attendance at department and college meetings, committee membership, student advising and other duties as assigned.  Position may require teaching on load at on and off campus sites, days and evenings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Master's degree in Computer Science or related area.  Knowledge of and skills in Computer Science programming, computer information technology and networking.

Preferred:     

PhD in Computer Science or related area of Computer Technology.  Teaching experience. Experience with computer science program development. Training and professional experience with cyber security software and practices. Knowledge of telecommunications. Experience with synchronous and asynchronous education. Bilingual skills.
