Role Summary/Purpose
Lead deal teams and manage relationships with cross-functional staff responsible for the restructuring of poor performing loans or leases and workout activities. Analyze and manage assigned portfolio to ensure minimum defaults through proactive restructuring and other resolutions.
Essential Responsibilities
Mitigate losses on delinquent / distressed accounts through workout, litigation and bankruptcy. For primarily complex accounts, develop resolution strategies and recommend actions within department guidelines. Prepare formal credit write-ups and present transactions and/or deal specific actions for approval or interim execution within department standards. Negotiate resolution strategies with borrowers, franchisors and other interested parties. Work closely with in-house legal counsel and manage outside legal counsel in structuring and negotiating bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy restructure transactions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years experience to include underwriting/account management, restructure, turnaround, and/or workout experience.Experience interpreting financial performance, assessing risk exposure, conducting loan restructures, and recommending risk decisions. Experience performing the following technical objectives: loan restructures litigation and bankruptcy initiatives, deal documentation and financial analysis.
