Description of Duties
 
Associate Software Engineer
  • Performs software design and programming
  • Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
  • Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
  • Develops and analyzes product specifications
  • Develops documentation
  • Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
  • Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English and Japanese translations
  • Up to 5% travel
 
Software Engineer
  • Performs software design and programming
  • Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
  • Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
  • Develops and analyzes product specifications
  • Develops documentation
  • Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
  • Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English and Japanese translations
  • Up to 5% travel
 
Senior Software Engineer 
  • Performs software design and programming
  • Provides technical leadership to other Software Engineers
  • Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
  • Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
  • Develops and analyzes product specifications
  • Develops documentation
  • Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
  • Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English/Japanese translations coordination and communication
  • Up to 10% travel
 
Summary of Requirements
 
Associate Software Engineer
  • Basic knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics software
  • Knowledge of software design and programming
  • Basic knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
  • Knowledge of circuitry may be helpful
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bilingual requires fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
 
Software Engineer
  • Knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics and/or network-related software
  • Strong knowledge of software design and programming
  • Strong knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
  • Experience with modern CPU architectures, real-time embedded systems programming, C/C++ and Assembly language
  • Technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of circuitry may be helpful
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bilingual requires fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
  • One to three years related experience
 
Senior Software Engineer 
  • Knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics and/or network-related software
  • Strong knowledge of software design and programming
  • Strong knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
  • Experience with modern CPU architectures, real-time embedded systems programming, C/C++ and Assembly language
  • Technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of circuitry may be helpful
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bilingual requires fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
  • Five to seven years related experience
 
Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
