You will be responsible for creating and developing physician relationships to promote referrals to Baptist Outpatient Services (BOS) for our new neighborhood medical plaza opening in the Spring of 2010 in Southwest Broward County. Baptist Medical Plaza will feature top-quality urgent care and outpatient diagnostic services.
Duties include planning and executing business development strategies to retain and generate new business for specific products and services for BOS; planning and managing personal business portfolio/territory according to agreed fiscal year market development strategy; and creating opportunities for BOS awareness by working closely with Marketing to promote community events and activities.
Interested candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of direct sales experience. Selling services in a healthcare environment highly preferred. Knowledge of the Broward and Palm Beach County healthcare marketplace is also preferred. Excellent communication skills, ability to interact effectively and results oriented required. Position is 90% in the field; 10% in the office.
About Baptist Medical Plazas
Baptist Health opened its first medical plaza, at Beacon near Miami International Airport, in 1993. Other Baptist Medical Plazas are located in Coral Gables, Country Walk, Doral, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Tamiami Trail, West Kendall, Westchester and Coral Springs. Future Broward County sites are being planned.
Baptist Medical Plazas diagnostic center will offer MRI, CT scan, digital mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound, echocardiogram, electrocardiogram and digital X-ray, and will utilize the most advanced digital technology. The same highly specialized, Board-certified radiologists who serve other Baptist Health facilities and hospitals will interpret patients images. Operating hours for the diagnostic center are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays. Next door in the urgent care center, highly skilled, compassionate Baptist Health doctors and nurses will be on-site to treat the whole familys minor illnesses. There is always a physician on-site when the urgent care center is open. Urgent care is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
