Job Description
Based in the Central Valley and reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be required to provide leadership and assistance to assigned restaurants to achieve short and long-term company and shareholder objectives. You will also excercise your knowledge of restaurant operations and managing staff resources to provide counsel, advice and assistance to each restaurant to impact and improve sales, profits and operating standards.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Communicate and provide direction to restaurant management on multi-step procedures consistently and ensure follow-through.
- Oversee and manage restaurant management staff, including coaching and developing Restaurant Management in assigned units.
- Supervise and ensure the daily execution of the Mission Statement and Core Values in all assigned units.
- Comply with company policies, practices and procedures and communicate all changes to restaurant managers.
- Serve as the liaison between the units and the corporate office to ensure communication and coordination.
- Conduct monthly meetings with assigned management teams to keep them informed and monitor their progress.
- Make sure every restaurant has four Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) in place and all company-training systems are being used.
- Monitor hourly and manager training to provide feedback to the trainees and the training department.
- Ensure all units have and are implementing local store and system wide marketing plans.
- Focus on daily sales in every restaurant to identify opportunities and increase management awareness at the restaurant level.
- Review and advise each unit on the efficient operation of the unit including costs of goods sold, labor, supply and vendor cost, to include guest relations.
- Ensure accuracy and results on all units Profit and Loss Statements.
- Confirm overall food quality and handling, safety, security, service and cleanliness standards are met.
- Observe the exterior of all units during each visit to ensure landscaping, dumpster, signs and building adhere to Company standards.
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of progressive multi-unit restaurant management experience with an emphasis in California State specific labor and employment law.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field is preferred.
- Able to exercise discretion and independent action as well as maintain confidential information, adhere to and enforce company policies, programs, and compliance issues.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- A good motor vehicle driving record and a valid class C license.
- Capable of traveling between units up to 75% of the time.
