                                           AREA SALES MANAGER

Be part of an entrepreneurial environment! Your primary responsibilities will be:

·         Take ownership of a P & L region

 

·         Build a team of self-sourced Home Loan Consultants

 

·         Grow a territory within First Bank’s California retail footprint

 

·         Build sales acumen for the team – Drive a self-sourced mortgage loan origination group

  • Conduct regular sales calls with existing and potential customers to promote mortgage loan products as appropriate

 

  • Communicate and explain company processes, philosophies, policies and procedures

 

  • Identify customer needs, gather information on competitive products and refer information to appropriate parties

 

  • Provide Home Loan Consultants with regular training about our loan products and programs and provide regular feedback

 

  • Provide customer service to First Bank customers, production and operational staff

 

  • Understand the requirements for First Bank mortgage loan products with respect to underwriting and funding guidelines

 

  • Report and communicate any issues to the President of the Mortgage division

 

 

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

 

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

 

 

We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications: 

·         Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in finance or a related field, and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·         At least two year of previous management/supervisory experience in coaching mortgage loan sales performance is preferred.
