Staff Accountant - Confidential Company (Chicago North, Illinois)

Immediate opening for an experienced Staff Accountant with strong analytical and accounting/financial skills.  We are seeking a dynamic hands-on, detail oriented individual for our location in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director this position will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, including but not limited to:

        Monitor and review job costing and time data entry  

        Produce project reconciliations for billing to the client

        Process journal entries and produce monthly financial statements

        Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliation

        Oversee limited Accounts Payable at unit level and manage Accounts     Receivable   processing and monitoring

        Special analysis and projects as needed

Qualifications:

        Background in Professional Services or Medical Advertising preferred, not     required

        Graduate of a four-year college with a degree in Accounting or Finance

        Minimum of two years of progressive accounting experience

        Excellent computer skills required, especially Excel proficiency  

        Experience with Dynamics and eSM Software a plus

        Must possess a high level of attention to detail

        Ability to work independently as well as with all levels of management

        Excellent written and verbal skills

        Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high energy environment
