Responsibilities:
• Generate sales by working with current/prospective customers.
• Support regional activities, strategies and personnel.
• Provide appropriate level of customer interaction/information in SalesForce.Com.
• Customer resource and subject matter expert for T&M product lines and applications.
• Demonstrate a consultative sales approach to advise rep firms and end customers on best product fit for customer's application.
• Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prepare proposal sections and quotes by determining the most suitable customer solution.
• May assist in conducting technical review of application designs with appropriate functional experts.
• Follow up with rep firms and end customers regarding open quotes.
• Provide sales forecasting as needed.
• Work seamlessly with all functional experts to identify and fulfill customer requirements, pre-sale.
• Performs other duties as required

 
Sensing and Control (S&C) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). S&C is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) applications in the aerospace, medical, transportation, industrial, information technology and consumer appliance sectors.  
Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Engineering or Business related field.
  • 1 year customer service, engineering or project management experience.
  • 1 year sales experience.
  • MS Office experience in a business related capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business related field
  • Able to solve complex sales problems, both of technical and non-technical nature.
  • Proven ability to self-manage, self-starter, goal oriented, enthusiastic, well organized, ethical & professional.
  • Aggressive in achieving results with teaming and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated track record of success.
  • Skilled in using professional sales techniques and processes.
  • Candidate must possess strong verbal skills, organization, customer service, multi-tasking, basic math skills, and have a team mentality.
