Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper - Hydro Resources (Amarillo/Lubbock, Texas)

Full-service water well drilling and pump service contractor based in Sunray, TX is seeking a full-time Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper.  This candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience with a solid accounting background.  This person must also possess a strong work ethic.  The candidate will be responsible for the following:  

1.       Billing (Primary Task) - This entails issuing inventory, entering POs, job costing, etc. for drilling and test holes

2.       Job Estimates - Complete job estimates for bidding on various jobs

3.       Invoices Review pump invoices for correct pricing

4.       Statements Send out monthly customer statements

5.       Banking Maintain local account and petty cash.  Includes writing checks, making deposits and monthly reconciliations.

6.       Office Duties Answer phones, make copies, etc.
