Our Retail Leadership Development Program (RLDP) provides you award-winning training and the dynamic experience to cultivate your current experience level into a leadership role at the leading wireless company. Kick-starting your career right out of college, the first phase of our RLDP provides you with experience in the operational aspects of running a business. This "Operations Immersion" rotation provides: - Knowledge of and expertise in the retail environment. - Introduction to products, services, store operations, and customer service solutions. - Industry-leading training and interaction with business leaders and fellow team members. Phase two provides you with 12 months to start acquiring the skills to inspire and develop a highly motivated sales team, build your product knowledge and learn how to use highly effective sales strategies. This "Sales Acceleration" phase provides: - Teamwork fundamentals and how to coach high-performance sales teams to meet sales goals and quotas. - Insight on creating quick solutions for customers to build a long-lasting relationship with Verizon Wireless. - The opportunity to create a dynamic, productive retail environment. After mastering management techniques that will put you on a direct path to success, you'll spend the final 6 months of the program in a management role. You'll focus your talents in the "Leadership Readiness" phase by taking responsibility for: - Creating, building, and maintaining long-lasting relationships with customers. - The hands-on experience of running a successful retail location. - Developing the sales skills for your own diverse team of employees and motivating them to succeed. Qualifications

Qualifications- MUST be a 2008 or 2009 GRADUATE with at least a Bachelor's degree in Retail/Sales Management and/or equivalent Business degree- Previous experience working in a retail environment- Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to analyze customer needs, present solutions and add value through delivery of products and services- Work well in a fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking- Effective sales, negotiation and closing skills- Flexible work schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays- Bilingual skills are a plus- Ability to relocate to various locations within the region, during the 24-month period. The region is made up of Houston, TX, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Northwest Florida. Relocation benefits will be provided, if qualified.
