DIMG is headquartered in North Hollywood, Calif., with content available directly or through third parties in many major markets worldwide, including the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.POSITION SUMMARYAs the Team Manager of the Automation/Performance Engineering team within QA, you will be both a technical and process leader for the QA team. You will provide guidance and support for the other Automation engineers in order to coordinate the team under a standard practice model. This also applies to the architecture of the automation/performance test framework and methodologies. The Team Manager has responsibility for people management, including 1 on 1’s and performance reviews. Critical thinking, communication, project leadership, and pride in work are all skills critical to success in this role. The Team Manager will manage teams members located on both coasts as well as possible outsource partners.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Project and Ops team support and oversight Design and Development Process/Standards definition, improvement, enforcement Meetings, Planning & Review, Documentation, EstimatesQUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Proven ability to work with all members of a project team Experience drafting requirements and functional specifications Must be organized and capable of tracking multiple issues simultaneously Owns the creation and maintenance of documentation, procedures and working instructions. A clear understanding of the web developer and engineering roles and their integration within the QA process. Manages daily processes of resources and activities assigned. Shows initiative in constantly reassessing needs and makes suggestions that meet those needs proactively. Demonstrated understanding of use of dashboards and reporting. Recommends tools and utilities for Automation, Performance and continuous integration testing. Solid understanding of HTML/DHTML/CSS, JavaScript and Content Management Systems Solid understanding of development and testing environmentsSPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED 4+ years of web development or software engineering experience, with the ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Java or equivalent. 3 + years of experience with Performance and Automation testing tools. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner. Ability to be detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and delivery of high quality assignments and projects. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with two and three tier web architectures. Strong leadership skills. Solid customer service skills. Strong commitment to fostering and promoting teamwork, must have a team player attitude.
