Job Description:
We are currently looking for Transition Consultants - LOCATION OPEN; Home Office ENVIRONMENT 50-75% travel.

The role of the Transition Consultant is to support the Transition Project Manager and Transition organization with the turn up of new services. Primary responsibilities will include:
Experience with server and datacenter support.
Work as a team member of the Transition Team to integrate all services
Implement services, on time and on budget as designed and solutioned for SIS clients
Map SIS services to function in clients environment
Work with the Transition Project Manager and the team to resolve issues, risks and change management during the engagement
Develop documentation as outlined in Internal SOW
Train SIS staff on implemented tools and processes per SOW
Assist in interview and hire staff (as required) for new engagements
Develop and Execute Operational Improvement Project Plan
o Audits
o Assumption Validation
o Process Improvement
o Optimization
Supply input to Solution Architects and Transition Manager on opportunities for improvement in our solutions
Technical experience with Industry support tools for each of the operational tower.
o Knowledge Management
o Incident Management
o Problem Management
o Remote Management
o Order Management

Qualified candidates must have the following:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or other related field or equivalent training; minimum of 5 - 7 years of industry experience in IT services; experience with the server and datacenter knowledge is required; experience with project management; 3-5 years of management or matrix management experience; proven ability to manage multiple tasks; CAPM or PMP Certification; one major Technical certification for IT industry; excellent communications skills verbal and written; advanced skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint; basic skills in Visio
ITIL v3 a plus.
