Job Description:
Siemens Water Technologies is searching for a licensed waste water treatment operator. This position will operate a continuous flow water treatment system (which consists of chemical addition, clarifier and polishing water discharge with a Memtek micro filter), conduct batch treatments ranging from 2,000-4,500 gallons of waste chemicals, and will also be responsible for safe handling and storage of hazardous waste . This consists of checking manifests when accepting containers of waste chemicals into the facility as well as correctly storing and processing wastes. Will also be responsible for correctly labeling containers.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to safely operate a forklift and be capable of lifting 50 lbs. Candidate should have a Class D wastewater license and have a 40 hour Hazwoper certificate.
