Telecommunications Analyst Enfield, CT

Job Description

        Provide technical solutions and user satisfaction in resolving helpdesk calls.

        Deliver technically sound support and training to users in handset usage, call center setup, mobile device usage, wireless broadband, video conferencing, fax server usage. Install, upgrade and maintain end user equipment.

        Maintain & support PBX Systems, BlackBerry Enterprise Servers, Fax Servers and associated technologies.

        Oversee all telecommunications contracted services including voice & data T1s, Cellular contracts, ISDN service, POTs lines, lease lines, long distance, broadband and mobile broadband service.

        Perform periodic analysis of applications, administration and support areas.

        Control costs through implementation of technology, scaling and consolidation.

Skills and Education

Five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Technical Knowledge and/or certification in the following areas is required:

        PBX Administration (Alactel)

        Fax Server Administration (RightFax)

        Internet Protocol

        Trunk provisioning - PRIs, BRIs, MPLS, SIP, COT

        CTI

        Unified Messaging

        BlackBerry Administration (BES for Groupwise)

        ISDN Video Conferencing (Polycom)

        VoIP

        ACD Queues

        Voice-mail
