Job Function
As the Product Manager responsible for Qualcomm's SecureMSM platform you will support key customers and drive the adoption of Qualcomm's SecureMSM platform globally. Work with wireless operators, handset device manufacturers, operating system providers, and content providers to ensure the product satisfies market needs. Anticipate and define detailed product requirements based on competitive, customer and market requirements. Communicate product plans and roadmaps to QCT's Sales personnel, OEM customers and carrier partners worldwide.

Specific responsibilities will include the following:

  • Educate OEMs, operators, and OS providers on the benefits of Qualcomm's SecureMSM platform including Secure Boot, Secure Storage, Secure Execution environment, Cryptographic hardware, OS drivers, security software, and multiple DRM implementations.
  • Work closely with SecureMSM engineering teams to develop the technical vision for the product roadmap capturing requirements from OEMs, operators, standards bodies and various Qualcomm teams.
  • Interface with 3rd party OS vendors to ensure integration of SecureMSM hardware and software with 3rd party operating systems.
  • Maintain feature documentation, roadmaps, feature definition matrices, product requirements documents, and associated product documentation.

    Skills/Experience

  • Engineering background in Security
  • 3+ years experience in Wireless or Semiconductor industry and 4+ years of experience in Product Management preferably in the wireless communications industry.
  • Extensive experience in managing product development in a growth environment.
  • Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully; strong ability to influence others for results.
  • Account/customer management and business development experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional projects without formal reporting relationships.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategy, drive decision making across the organization including senior management and technical staff.
  • Knowledge of security concepts and technologies including mobile platform security plus various DRM and conditional access technologies.

    Education Requirements
    Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
    Preferred: Master's, Business Administration and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
