Position Summary:
The Marcom Specialist will be responsible for marketing communications for the CellSciences product line, which is a combination of products focused on the workflow of cell biology. A particular emphasis is on Solution Marketing and developing marcom materials to support this.

The Marcom Specialist will also be responsible for supporting communications projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations and trade shows, including Internet-based communications related to the CellSciences products; participating in the development of plans for CellSciences product promotion in support of marketing objectives; monitoring marcom spending and preparing reports for budget purposes; translating technical materials into appropriate marketing content; preparing materials such as sales aids, advertising and public relations projects; interacting with vendors to produce promotional materials and ensuring adherence to corporate brand, trademark and legal standards/guidelines.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
At least an undergraduate degree in business/marketing/advertising is required with at least 3-5 years experience in a marcom, marketing, PR position.   Must have experience developing promotional materials, web, and PR.  Must have experience of layout and design tools e.g. Quark, Adobe, and web tools and experience of marketing high technology products in a dynamic scientific market.  Some experience of social media marketing desirable.  Must be highly detail oriented and focused on getting things done.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
