Build Your Professional Network

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and iHispano.com believe that your professional network is important.  Through NSHMBA's networking site, you will have the necessary tools to grow your network and seize career opportunities, while networking with your fellow NSHMBA members.

Once you become a part of NSHMBA's networking site, you have the ability to create a profile that demonstrates your professional accomplishments and background.  Your profile will give you the opportunity to connect with other NSHMBA professionals across the country and grow your network.

Through your network, you will be able to:

• Connect with Latino professionals
• Utilize career tools and resources
• Engage in intellectual and professional conversations in our private chat rooms.
• Interact with all NSHMBA chapters through blogs and forums.
• Upload pictures and videos of your chapter events.
• Promote your chapter events by posting them on the networking site calendar.

Networking Site Eligibility

As a member of the networking site, you must be 18 years or older, be an active member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), have not been previously removed from the NSHMBA networking site or any other iHispano.com site, and must have only one profile active on the networking site.

Privacy

iHispano.com cares about the privacy for our users, which is why we protect your identity.  We do not disclose any of your personal information to any outside party.  Any personal information that you have on your iHispano.com profile, will remain on our site.  Your information is only used on the site for networking with other members of the networking site.  We have privacy settings which you can customize for your profile.  Only the information that you choose to be displayed will be displayed on your profile.  We give you complete control of your profile. We will not give your email addresses or any personal information to any outside party or use it for any other purpose other than for networking purposes.  For your protection, we ask that you keep your password to your profile confidential.  Do not distribute your account information to anyone.

Maintain Your Professional Integrity Online

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and iHispano.com have created a unique networking platform for all NSHMBA members.  We take pride in providing you with an open and friendly environment.  Be proud of your networking site and please be respectful of your fellow members when posting content on the site.  As a member, you have access to post blogs, forums, comments, pictures, videos and events on NSHMBA's networking site.  Any content found to be inappropriate, offensive, illegal, or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of users or others to the iHispano.com/NSHMBA community will be removed immediately.

Penalties

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and iHispano.com want you to feel free to express your professional thoughts and opinions; however, any content that is considered to be offensive will be removed from the site.  Content that is found to be inappropriate will be removed, and the member who is responsible for the post will be notified and warned.  Members will be given up to 3 warnings for inappropriate content.  If they continue to post offensive content they will be removed from the networking site.

If there is any content that you feel is inappropriate and should be removed, please contact us immediately.  We closely monitor the site, but we give you the freedom to utilize the site in your own way.  Please send an email to nunezl@ihispano.com to remove any content that you feel is inappropriate.  If an email is sent to us requesting the removal of inappropriate content, the content will be removed within 24 hours.
