I started at this company as an architectural draftsman II, mainly working with commercial projects. Specifically I worked on food service and hospitality projects. Working with a prototype for Darden Restaurants called Seasons 52 Fresh Grill. For the 1st location, I developed construction documents for Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I took over the construction-document phase after the design development. This was a two-phase project, which included, the “Shell package” with all the structural systems of the building and all exterior finishes. Later, the “TI package” included all interior designs and finishes of the building. I advanced my knowledge of commercial drafting and code research. I submitted the project within the set deadlines with little or no supervision from my project manager.

I did residential modifications to existing house models. We used the contract changes from the builder and modified the model accordingly. This included modifications to the floor plan, elevations, foundations, truss plans, and electrical plans. Further, I worked from the initiation using the designer's conceptual drawings for new residential, multifamily, and commercial projects. I developed these into construction documents with little supervision. This included floor plans, elevations, a foundation, a dowel plan, a lintel plan, wind loads, interior elevations, sections, details, and schedules, etc…

I worked directly with the Architect on the conceptual design and then the schematic design for residential, commercial, & ecclesiastical projects. After the design was resolved, using ADT 3.3, I proceeded to draw the architectural site plan, foundation plan, floor plan, sections, elevations, roof plans, framing plans, electrical layouts, plumbing, schedules, and details to an advanced print stage. Upon review of the Architect, I would do all the final modifications to have the construction documents ready to sign and seal for submission to the building department.

In addition, I know how to put computers together from scratch, OS installation, software installation, and how to do computer upgrades. I used to buy parts of internet computer warehouse, mainly clone computers, and built them to an operating state.

Publishing – In most of the previously mentioned jobs, I was involved in the preparation of presentation to gain new clients, and projects competition to acquire new contracts. That included the use of MS Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, walkthrough animations, electronic rendering, and 3d modeling.

Music – I know basic music theory, I play the flute and the clarinet, and I know how to play them by ear, and reading the music.
