National Society of Hispanic MBAs The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) was created in 1988 as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Widely known as the "Premier Hispanic Organization," NSHMBA serves 32 chapters and 9,000 members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It exists to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S., so that they can provide the cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation's diverse workforce
Association of Latino Professionals in Accounting and Finance The Association of Latino Professionals in Accounting and Finance (ALPFA) is the leading professional association dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos in the accounting, finance and related professions. ALPFA is a not-for-profit entity registered with the Internal Revenue Service. Membership is open to anyone who shares our values, mission, and principles. ALPFA has 30 chapters in the United States and Puerto Rico, each offering local programs and events throughout the year. ALPFA creates opportunities, adds value, builds relationships for its members, the community and its business partners while expanding Latino Leadership in the global workforce.
Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association The Latinos in Information Science and Technology Association (LISTA) was founded in New York City, New York in 2000 by a group of nine technology professionals employed at various companies and businesses throughout the city. They were extremely concerned about the lack of Latino presence and representation in the information sciences, telecommunications and technology industries and decided to do something about it. LISTA is a national organization of Latino information sciences, telecommunications and technology professionals that serve as role models in the Latino community and develop relationships to help our community reach higher goals in math, science and technology and help conquer the digital divide.
National Hispanic Business Association The National Hispanic Business Association (NHBA) is a national network of students and alumni whose mission is to promote the development of undergraduate Hispanic business students through educational, professional, and networking opportunities to foster diversity, higher education, and the improvement of the Hispanic community.
Telemundo With more then 10 million US Hispanic subscribers, Telemundo is the essential source of broadcast entertainment, news, and sports programming for the fast growing Hispanic popultaion. Transmitting singular programming at the local and national level for the Hispanic segment in the United States. Careers for Latinos Careers For Latinos is owned by Graciela Kenig & Associates, a group of career development specialists and talent management consultants with a unique appreciation of Hispanic/Latino values. Founded in 1996, the firm provides culturally sensitive individual career counseling and coaching, as well as group workshops, seminars and presentations that take into account the role cultural issues play in career development.
Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement Founded in 1982, the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement is a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to building Latino careers through leadership and career development of Latino students and experienced professionals and recruitment programs for the acquisition of this talent by leading corporations, the government and other institutional employers. HACE is dedicated to incubating and nurturing Latinos at all stages of the career continuum from high school to college and on to the professional years, as we seek to develop increasing numbers of successful Latino professionals and leaders.
