Maribel De La Rosa is the Director of Strategic Relationships at iHispano.com, the nations premier professional networking site and job board for Latinos in the US, where she has been employed for almost six years. In her role, she manages iHispano.coms strategic partnerships which include the nations leading Hispanic non-profit organizations: ALPFA, the National Society of Hispanic MBA's (NSHMBA), the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), and the Society of Mexican American Engineers & Scientists (MAES), which iHispano develops, powers, and manages their career centers and networking communities. Ms. De La Rosa works closely with the national executive staff and local chapters to create career center accounts and outreach for their corporate sponsors.
In addition, she oversees the Client Services Department and is also one of the iHispano.com Channel Managers. As a Channel Manager, she interacts with iHispano.coms members through blogs, commenting on status updates, and posting networking events to keep them engaged and returning to the site. Maribel is also in charge of the weekly iHispano.com newsletter that is distributed to over 600,000 subscribers, and has helped to create and launch iHispano.coms online mentor program.
Maribels primary professional and personal goal is to help as many Latinos in the Hispanic community through iHispano.com and help them find their dream job and improve their personal lives.
iHispano and Monster formed a strategic partnership in 2007, because of this partnership, Maribel was presented with an opportunity to work for Monster's Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) on a consulting basis as their Senior Client Service Manager. From January to June, her main responsibility was to make sure that the 31+ DLP sponsors were prepared for the DLP events that took place from June to August in 9 cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, and Baltimore).
iHispano.coms sister websites, AMightyRiver.com and the WomensCareerChannel.com help Black Americans and women, respectively, Ms. De la Rosa was part of the team that launched these new verticals and is part of her overall goal which is to help underrepresented populations live their best life.
