Account Executive, Community HospitalsThe primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to broaden and deepen athena's relationships with key clients in our Community Health Systems market segment that result in high-levels of client satisfaction, retention and growth. This individual will lead athena's relationship management efforts at an executive level across our clients' organizational functions for an assigned portfolio of accounts. The primary objectives of this role are to fortify athena's relationships with key client executives within/across their organizations and to grow our "share of wallet" for the services athena provides. The Account Executive is responsible for meeting or exceeding his or her assigned quota by identifying and prioritizing open "sockets" within the installed client base, executing cross-sell and new department sales agreements, and nurturing existing clients into upsell opportunities.  The Account Executive will partner closely with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team, which is responsible for account management of existing clients, to develop account-specific sales strategies and manage the pipeline of open sockets and accounts. This role reports directly to one of territory sale leaders, will require at least 50% travel, and is flexible in terms of physical location.Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 40% Driving Bookings from Existing Client Base: Meet / exceed the assigned quota;Drive growth at a set of named clients independently, develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities and engage in a consultative sales process with them;Develop lead generation process for named clients through use of existing tools and resources Create individualized lead generation methods, use personal industry connections and leverage existing athena relationships.
