You will be responsible for mortgage loan closing document preparation on conventional and refinance loan transactions.  This includes preparing closing instructions, following company procedures required to close and fund residential mortgage loans in accordance with investor requirements.  As the loan closer you will coordinate all aspects of the closing process and ensures that all terms of the loan approval are met.   You must be able to recognize and correct insufficient or incorrect information quickly in order to meet strict closing deadlines.  This includes the responsibility for completing the role of Pre-closing review, this process prepares the file for the mortgage loan closer. Job Responsibilities:         Review loan approval for conventional and refinance transactions.  Review closing STIPS, request homeowners insurance, request verification of employment, review title for outstanding property taxes and liens, this includes working in a rotation for Pre-Closing Review.             Prepare Closing Instructions, issue mortgage disbursement checks or prepare wiring instructions.
