Summary:
The Accounting Project Lead will be responsible for various project initiatives in the account department to increase productivity and improve ongoing processes. Responsible for handling of e-filing reconciliations, credit card transactions, credit card tracking and accounting request queues.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Lead various projects, working with banking vendors and internal data operations teams to integrate automations and AI capabilities
- E-fling reconciliations
- Credit Card Transaction Handling
- Credit Card Tracking
- Identify areas of improvement throughout the accounting department and develop next steps
- Document and create procedural documents
- Maintain accounting request queue

Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- Experience with automation and integrations
- Experience with process documentation
- Lock box integration/experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
