For the expansion of our international Digital Technology (DT) Commercial team, argenx is looking for a DT Product Owner – US Market Access
Purpose of the Function
This role will own the technology vision and value delivery for our US Market Access capabilities. It is accountable for translating the strategic goals of our US Market Access teams into a clear product vision and a prioritized backlog of work. By championing a holistic user experience for platforms supporting reimbursement, payer engagement, and contract management, and by governing the unified backlog for delivery teams, this position is directly responsible for ensuring our technology ecosystem enables successful payer negotiations and streamlines patient access in the US market.
Roles & Responsibilities
Actively partner with US Market Access teams and end-users to define and champion a clear vision for the market access product, pod, or capability.
Own and prioritize a unified backlog of work, including features and projects, required to achieve the vision for market access technology solutions.
Provide clear, day-to-day direction to various delivery teams on what to build next, ensuring alignment with Market Access business priorities.
Act as the steward for the end-to-end user experience for solutions covering reimbursement, payer engagement, and contract management.
Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for success, measuring the effectiveness of market access tools and processes.
Continuously measure value and communicate performance against business outcomes back to stakeholders, using the insights to guide the product roadmap.
Collaborate with business users and delivery teams to ensure all technology components integrate into a coherent and effective solution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery teams, providing constant feedback and clarification on business requirements to empower effective execution.
Skills and Competencies
Deep knowledge of product management principles, particularly in defining a product vision and strategy that aligns with commercial business goals.
Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to build consensus and champion a product vision with Market Access leaders and technical teams.
Ability to own and prioritize a complex product backlog based on strategic value and business needs within a commercial pharma context.
Expert knowledge of US Market Access business processes, including payer engagement, reimbursement, and government pricing.
Knowledge of the digital technologies that support Market Access, such as contract management, CRM, and data analytics platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively together within cross-functional teams and networks.
Demonstrated communication skills, within a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environment.
Is agile and demonstrates adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, trust-building, and resilience.
Drives toward outcomes.
Ambitious, inquisitive naturally, a quick study, with demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn, self-improve and develop. This includes being comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a diverse environment.

Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master's Degree preferred in Information Technology or related fields.
5+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst with a focus on delivering solutions for Market Access or other US commercial functions.
5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of US payer models, reimbursement pathways, and contracting.
5+ years' experience owning a product roadmap and using KPIs to measure and communicate business value to stakeholders.
