MHS is seeking a Health Services Staff Assistant (HSSA) to support its Medical Department. This full-time administrative role supports the team by providing secretarial & clerical duties at the Middle School Medical Clinic front desk. The HSSA ensures smooth coordination of calls, paperwork, visitor flow, and project support while upholding confidentiality and fostering a student-centered environment aligned with MHS’s mission.
Location: On-site in Hershey, PASchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility required)Hourly Pay: $19.45 – $25.96 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings with employer contribution, paid time off, wellness benefits, and free lunches.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ year in secretarial/administrative roles
- Medical terminology and OSHA training, preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency and telephone etiquette
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
