Job Description:
Position: Java/J2EE/Python Senior Developer
Industry: Financial Services
Location: McLean, Virginia
Hours: M-F, onsite
Requirements:
- All candidates must be either a US Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Card as well as be a direct W-2 employee to our vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Python services for model training and inference.
• Implement Java services to bridge communication between client callers and Python services.
• Conduct performance tuning and stress testing of models.
• Identify and resolve issues during model reconciliation processes.
• Address software security vulnerabilities.
Basic Requirements:
• 5-7 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies or Python related technologies.
• Must be proficient in at least one of the languages Java or Python
• Familiar with frameworks such as Spring, Flask, AWS, Kafka and other DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning tools like NumPy, Pandas Scikit-learn, Shap.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• Excellent problem solving and analytical, and technical skills.
• Ability to think critically and act expeditiously to evaluate situations, make decisions and solve problems.
• Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work well with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines.
• Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills.
