Full Job Description
Position Details:
- Industry - Banking and Financial
- Title - UX Researcher
- Duration - 12 months
- Location - Addison, TX / Charlotte, NC (ONSITE)
- Pay - $65/hour to $70/hour
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Understand and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings. Identify opportunities and threats to inform product strategy.
- UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners (vendors) to develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences. Provide feedback on designs based on user research, usability principles, brand consistency and product goals. Ensure solutions are accessible to users with disabilities.
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and identify user needs and pain points to inform product decisions.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Translate user experience needs into clear and well-defined product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- UX Testing: Lead concept and usability testing and synthesize the results to validate and improve solution design.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the Product Owner, Architects, scrum master, engineering team, and product users throughout the product lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Define and track key user experience metrics, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement. Use data to inform product decisions and iterate on existing features. Report on success of improvements.
- Advocate for the User: Be the voice of the user within the organization, ensuring user needs are at the forefront of product decisions
- 5+ years of UX experience
- Understanding of research methods revolving around customers
- User interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics to understand user needs and behaviors
- UI/UX principles, best practices, design methodologies including usability, accessibility, and user centered design to improve user experience
- Prior experience working with UI/UX designers and providing feedback
- Preferred experience with financial institution
- Experience with SAFe
