As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, monitoring badge credentials, and responding to alarm panels as needed. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and addressing inquiries as needed.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Document and maintain records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related events as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
