WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Undergraduate Conservation Programs Intern performs logistics and planning for community-based programming. Specifically, this individual is responsible for coordinating advertising of and recruitment for TNC's outdoor education and hunting programs. This position will coordinate with partner groups to assist with planning. A day in this line of work will mostly consist of computer-based work utilizing Microsoft office products and google based product as well as conversations with partners and community groups via zoom, phone or other telecommunication.


The ability to travel to events in NY is desired.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program and experience planning events or engaging in public outreach and education.
* Experience with community relations, community engagement or other public engagement with a focus on conservation, environmental education or related field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
* Ability to follow instructions from colleagues/coworkers/team members.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Experience developing and/or leading outdoor educational programming


ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

The selected candidate must be enrolled in an Undergraduate Program. This internship will last for three months, beginning in June 2025.


SALARY INFORMATION

The pay range for a candidate selected for this position is $15.50 hourly rate. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
