Full Job Description
Our award winning agency client is looking for an Web Designer to join their close knit team for an ONSITE Full-Time position.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Extensive knowledge in HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3
+ Extensive knowledge in JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax.
+ Basic knowledge in PHP
+ Thorough knowledge of design tools.
+ Ability to take a PSD/mock or concept and turn it into a working experience.
+ Build, slice, and code HTML email blasts with variable data requirements.
+ Create user interfaces, using front-end code in HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript to interface with backend code.
+ Prototyping of Website pages
+ Interactive Design of Website pages
+ Recommendations for front-end/back end technologies
+ Perform any other duties assigned by President/Chief Executive Officer.
SKILLS:
+ 2+ years of experience with website coding and interaction design.
+ Expert knowledge of standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
+ Capable of converting Photoshop mock-ups into CSS/XHTML templates for back end developer's use
+ Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
+ Strong understanding of usability and accessibility issues.
+ Understanding of Content Management Systems.
+ Experience with CSS3 and HTML5.
+ Experience with mobile/responsive design and experience with the following is plus: CAKEPHP, WordPress and Magento.
