About the Position:
The Wholesale & Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring all loans are processed, closed, and documented in accordance with the Bank's policies and guidelines. This position is responsible for performing appropriate due diligence tasks and ensuring conditions precedent are met prior to closing or funding a commercial loan. This position will work with commercial loan transactions including Multi-Family and C&I.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborates with Relationship Managers, BDOs, applicants, brokers, escrow and title companies, the Note Department, appraisal management companies, and insurance providers, as applicable, to facilitate the loan process from application through closing.
- Reviews financial and property documents such as Tax Returns, Credit Reports, Appraisal Reports, Appraisal Review Reports, Paystubs, Rent Rolls, and Operating History to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Examines legal and ownership records including Entity Documents, Preliminary Title Reports, Property Profiles, and Public Records to verify information and determine if additional documentation is needed.
- Uploads documents to Loan Origination System and Appraisal Management Company.
- Engages appraisal process, ensures proper documentation is uploaded and data is accurate to arrange for appraisal bids, engages appraisals, monitors appraisal and review process.
- Processes within the Loan Origination System workflow and tracks tasks for timely completion for assigned loans and that of staff.
- Opens Escrow and assists escrow process as needed and work on closing the escrow.
- Manages the ordering and monitoring of Title Insurance, Environmental Reports (including Probability Loss Seismic reports), UCC searches and filings, payoff demands, and third-party invoices to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assists clients in completing Bank required forms and works through application process.
- Recommends changes to Bank policies to ensure consistency with changing market conditions and current Bank practices.
- Assists customers with servicing requests as they come due, including billing statement, tracking of payments, ACH onboarding.
- Assists Credit Review and Note Department with client questions or requests for information, such as updated financial statements or insurance.
- Embodies the TRAC Values and Critical Behaviors (Teamwork, Relationship, Authenticity, Commitment) as core principles, using them to guide daily interactions and decision-making.
- Completes administrative tasks with a sense of urgency, including required Bank Compliance Training. Responds to internal and external inquiries via email, phone, or messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner. Positively represents the Bank through ethical conduct and community involvement.

- Performs duties in an office or home office environment, involving tasks such as writing, typing, speaking, lifting moderate weights, and operating office equipment. - Travels up to 10%, including but not limited to attending company meetings, training sessions, and corporate events, with travel typically being regional or local based on business needs.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, or related) preferred. Advanced degree or relevant certifications strongly preferred for senior-level roles.
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial banking, commercial loan assisting, or comparable experience required; preferred experience includes multi-family and commercial & industrial (C&I) lending.
- Experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
- Experience with the Abrigo system preferred, familiarity with various credit reporting and industry data services, and loan origination systems LOS such as Sageworks, Moody's, Baker Hill, or similar platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers, vendors and employees.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient teamwork and relationship skills to contribute to cross-functional collaboration and team success.
- Willingness to take on special projects and perform other duties as assigned, beyond core responsibilities, to support team and organizational needs.

Compensation details: 28-33 Hourly Wage
