This position is hybrid and remote eligible up to 40% of the time. The office location for this position is at ESL Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, NY. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
Pay:
Starting Pay: $31.11 per hour Pay Range: $27.53 - $34.70
Purpose:
Assists in the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of company-wide total wellbeing initiatives. Develops programs that create awareness, motivation and provides tools to employees that help them adapt and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle. Administration and oversight of the web wellness platform.
Accountabilities:
Develop, administer, evaluate and promote a diverse range of wellness initiatives
- Planning and coordinating wellness programs, such as health screenings, workshops, and educational seminars
- Develop and implement strategies to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage participation
- Creating promotional materials to raise awareness of wellness initiatives
- Evaluating the effectiveness of wellness programs through data analysis and feedback
- Making recommendations for program improvements based on the evaluation results
- Oversee the fitness center ensuring safe and maintained equipment and overseeing other initiatives utilizing the fitness center
- Make budget recommendations to manager, including records of program participation, expenses, and outcomes
- Plan and coordinate biometric screenings, flu clinics, blood drives as needed
Maintain and administer the web wellness platform
- Work with vendor to ensure platform is kept current and meets the employee needs
- Educate employees to increase participation in using the platform
- Develop new opportunities working with the vendor
Lead the Corporate Wellness Program Team
- Facilitate wellness program team activities, events, and monthly meetings
- Attend sub-team meetings
- Work with Branch ambassadors to ensure budgets are being utilized
- Ensure a diverse membership on the team
Develop knowledge & skills to provide ever-increasing value to ESL
- Stay up to date with industry trends
- Develop relationships with external vendors, in order to leverage their expertise for wellness initiatives
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business, human resources, health promotion or related field
- In addition, a minimum of 1 year of experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation (event planning)
- Passion for wellness and well-being demonstrated
- PC software proficient, including web platforms
- Meticulous organizational skills, with strong attention to detail; written communication that connects with a variety of audiences
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; willing to occasionally speak in front of groups
- Takes initiative and creatively executes on deliverables
- Willing to work extended (flexible) hours for events and activities as needed
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment using sound judgement with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Requires absolute confidentiality regarding employee information
