NJM is committed to providing its customers with superior service, and great service goes a long way. NJM is a top-rated insurance company by its policyholders and employees for service and caring. A Receivables and Collection Customer Care Associate answers and responds to inbound telephone calls from policyholders and internal departments. A Customer Care Associate provides assistance, superior customer service and monitors policyholder accounts for accurate invoicing.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm

Once fully trained, work from home flexibility is available.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews Personal Lines accounts in a credit status to determine the accuracy of the account.

  • Validates and approves the credits for disbursement to the appropriate party.

  • Reviews and responds to reports, activities, and customer inquiries.

  • Processes accurate and appropriate adjustments to personal lines’ accounts to ensure accurate invoicing and policyholder communication.

  • Utilizes various resources to assist personal line’s customers and inter-office personnel professionally, efficiently, and accurately with inquiries regarding their invoices, payments, payment methods, disbursements, and account balances.

  • Accurately processes transactions, notes the account and transfers calls to the appropriate party.

  • Handles commercial line’s accounts as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior listening skills

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills

  • Previous call center experience handling inbound calls is a plus

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Pay Range: $41,529-$48,269

Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave. Employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
