Account Director Position - Performance Branding Agency
Location: Long Island City, Queens (4 days/week onsite required)
Role Overview
Position will lead and develop the Account Management department, initially overseeing one account and managing 2 team members. *Ideally you have retail client experience*
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client communications with strong presentation skills
- Identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Manage and mentor account team members, providing support and guidance
- Establish and track KPIs for team performance
- Collaborate with leadership on Account Management department growth
- Manage projects via Asana, coordinating with internal stakeholders
- Optimize client portfolios, scopes, and team allocations
- Drive new business through strategic pitch process
- Support sales team in developing creative pitch strategies
Requirements
- 7+ years agency experience (paid social focus preferred)
- Experience in full 360 integrated creative work including:
- Digital
- Social
- TV
- OOH
- Media campaigns
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced organizational and portfolio management abilities
- Passion for growing client businesses
- Leadership skills with focus on team development
- Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.)
Salary $130-150K (potentially a little higher) base plus performance based bonus
