MAKITA Corporation of America, a worldwide leading producer of high-quality power tools, is seeking an Accounting Tech to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions involved in processing invoices
- Prepare weekly checks and wire payments.
- File and organize all related accounts payable documents.
- Process hourly payroll weekly.
- Perform other duties as required in the Accounting and Finance Department
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of recent accounts payable experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
- Accurate data entry skills.
Preferred:
- Two-year degree with at least two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MRP system.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS / payroll program.
- Self-motivated, team player.
