This position requires knowledge, experience and education that relates to business and accounting principles. It is important that the person is a good communicator, positive and outgoing but able to work within procedures and focus on facts, standards and quality.

* Perform and manage day-to-day accounts receivables duties

* Update and manage Customer Cards

* Assist in the bi-weekly payroll prep, transmission, and receipt

* Must be able to build and maintain strong, interpersonal networks with customers and co-workers

* Provide 401K & benefit information to employees and communicate with TPA as needed

* Prepare Account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

* Analyze financial information and summarize financial status including preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)

* Comply with GAAP, Phoenix Mecano Management Handbook plus State and Federal laws

* Support month-end, quarter-end, and year end audit processes including liaison with internal and external stakeholders (Group, Auditors)

* Utilize the Paylocity (HRIS) system and assist with learning, performance, onboarding/terminating, etc.

This position is not remote. It requires 5 days a week in the office Monday-Friday.

* Understanding and application of advanced accounting principles; in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required

* Knowledge of financial accounting statements and the ability to apply in completion of essential functions

* Ability to apply a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Knowledge of Paylocity HRIS is highly desirable

* Knowledge of GAAP, state and federal accounting laws and ability to apply

* Ability to analyze information, determine conclusion and action as needed

Education & Experience:

We would prefer candidates that are fluent in English & Spanish

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field is required

At least one year of previous accounting experience, with A/R duties, in a corporate setting is required.
