Title: Azure Cloud Principal Engineer
Locations: (Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, Dallas, TX, Minneapolis, MN, Columbus, OH, New York/New Jersey)
HYBRID 3 ONSITE AND 2 REMOTE
Contract/Perm/C2H: 12 months - CTH
Requirements:
- 10+ years of information security applications and systems experience
- 6+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
- 6+ years of experience working with SDLC, devsecops, agile, including supporting and/or using tools
- 6+ years of experience working with various identity and access management tools
- 6+ years of experience working on developing solutions for integrating various components
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in developing IAM solutions in cloud service providers (Azure & GCP) - ideally both, but must have Azure.
- Experience architecting IAM solutions within Azure, AWS, and other cloud providers.
- Strong proficiency in AZURE Cloud services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, etc.).
- MUST have led in a MS product environment
- Expert knowledge of GKE/Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployments, and scaling.
- Experience with Terraform - everything in their environment is managed by terraform
- IAM (Identity Access Management) solutions with MS Azure
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- AI dev experience on Azure/MS platform
- Led automation integration
- Azure Cloud Professional/Cloud Architect with Access Controls
- Azure Cloud Professional Principal Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Provide L2 support for AZURE Cloud environments, focusing on Terraform/Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud services and Kubernetes clusters.
- Lead Team in MS product new development and implementation
- Resolve Access Control complexities within MS Products
- Perform Automation implementations / Build Terraform platform
- Partner with Senior Cloud Engineers
- Lead and mentor a team of support engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Conduct regular team meetings and technical reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Manage and resolve incidents and problems promptly.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Document incident resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
