Under the direction of the Manager, Operations Systems Services, the Business Analyst will understand and advocate for business objectives in technology projects, ensuring that systems and processes align with organizational goals. This role also involves analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes as well as supporting project requests and planning efforts by gathering requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to define business need. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as the business analyst will be a key conduit engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Serve as an advocate for business interests on technology projects through the gathering, documentation, and understanding of requirements needed for project delivery and ensuring division communication on project status.
- Participate in designing and executing business process improvements by mapping existing business workflows, coordinating with business units to identify opportunities for process improvements, and tailoring platform configurations to reflect optimized workflows, data sharing opportunities, and communications channels.
- Establish solution objectives and evaluate information systems functionality to identify gaps and measure the impact to business operations.
- Validate business requirements for accuracy and completeness and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders-ranging from frontline staff to C-suite executives-by tailoring the communication style and level of detail to suit each audience.
- Collaborate with department representatives and IT personnel on planning and prioritization of projects.
- Develop business cases for technology need in close coordination with operation team leaders.
- Collaborate with the IT Department and business stakeholders to develop and maintain product roadmaps and lifecycle schedules for division software inventory.
- Represent the division, where assigned, for business interests on enterprise-wide technology initiatives and enterprise-wide teams addressing technology and facility-related business process improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Airport Management, Business Administration, Project Management or at least seven years of experience in business analysis
- Three years of experience in business analysis to include gathering requirements, writing system specifications, assisting with project plans, and executing and monitoring tasks and reports
- Experience with documenting and optimizing business process workflows.
