The Role

Fidelity Labs is looking for a Co-Op, Communications Associate to play an important role on the Innovation Communications team and execute various organizational and project-based duties. This role will be responsible for maintaining and streamlining essential operational functions for Fidelity Labs, including but not limited to executive-level content creation, internal and external communications, social media, operations, and numerous other tasks as called for. This role will work closely with both the central Commercialization and Business Operations team and each individual Labs business. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of organizational, project management, analytical, and communication skills.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Current senior-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

  • Superior writing and oral skills; attention to detail, editing and proofreading a must

  • Outstanding project management skills: highly organized and diligent with ability to prioritize across multiple projects

  • Social media content creation and analysis strongly desired

  • Event marketing, brand awareness executions, and executive communications strongly desired

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and passion for products, technology, and financial services

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Graphic design and video experience a plus

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
