Job Title: Epic Ambulatory TrainerWhat the Role Is AboutThis role is responsible for delivering high‑quality Epic Ambulatory training and ongoing support to a client in the Medical Industry providers and staff. The trainer serves as a subject‑matter expert and lead educator for Epic ambulatory applications, ensuring consistent adoption, accurate documentation, and effective use of the electronic medical record (EMR).
The position plays a key leadership role in planning, coordinating, and delivering live and virtual training supporting Dimensions upgrades and major initiatives, and continuously improving the Ambulatory Training Program. The trainer acts as a change agent, driving competency, engagement, and workflow transformation while partnering closely with clinical, operational, and organizational leaders.
Requirements- Proven experience delivering live and virtual training to clinical and operational audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate classroom and workflow-based training sessions
- Strong working knowledge of workflows and documentation standards
- Ability to assess learner needs and tailor training approaches accordingly
- Experience reviewing, testing, and validating training materials and system functionality
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional best practices
- Ability to lead planning, coordination, and implementation of training programs across multiple markets
- Strong partnership skills with practice leaders, clinician development teams, analysts, and enterprise stakeholders
- Proven ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide appropriate service recovery
- Experience evaluating training effectiveness and learning outcomes
- Ability to identify and lead improvements in education delivery and workflow adoption
- Experience auditing and monitoring training delivery and compliance
- Prior healthcare system or academic medical center training experience
- Experience working with instructional designers or developing training content
- Familiarity with Dimensions or similar structured training programs
- Change management or organizational development experience
- Experience supporting clinicians across multiple specialties or markets
- Strong facilitation skills with high‑volume or enterprise‑wide training initiatives
- Demonstrated interest in professional development, innovation, and advancing a training career path
