Our client is seeking a Maritime Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and lifecycle management of advanced naval systems. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, and program leadership to develop high-performance solutions for defense applications while ensuring technical, schedule, and program objectives are met.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead systems engineering activities throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Develop system architectures, requirements, and interface documentation.
  • Support systems integration, verification, validation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Perform requirements management and technical risk assessments.
  • Support customer design reviews and program milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with defense and military standards.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 7+ years of systems engineering experience within the defense or maritime industry.
  • Experience with systems integration, requirements management, and verification & validation.
  • Familiarity with naval platforms, sonar, radar, communications, or mission systems.
  • Experience with MBSE, DOORS, Cameo, or similar systems engineering tools is preferred.
  • Eligible to obtain or maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
