Our luxury retail client is looking for a Digital Imaging Specialist to join their team 40 hours per week through the end of the year, with the potential to extend. This role is fully onsite at their office in Corte Madera, CA.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Adobe Photoshop and image retouching who is excited to develop expertise in digital image authoring and product visualization.
Along with the broader team, you will support the creation and maintenance of photorealistic product imagery across digital platforms. You'll learn the brand's proprietary image authoring workflows while contributing to the production of high-quality digital assets, ensuring every product is represented with exceptional accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
This position combines creative execution with technical precision and is well suited for someone who enjoys working in Photoshop, has an eye for color and texture, and is comfortable supporting large-scale digital asset production.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the creation and maintenance of digital product imagery
- Prepare and author layered Photoshop files for dynamic product visualization and digital experiences.
- Perform image editing, masking, compositing, color correction, retouching, and texture application
- Assist in creating product variations including fabrics, finishes, colors, materials, and configurations across a large product catalog.
- Ensure all imagery meets quality standards for accuracy, realism, consistency, and brand presentation.
- Participate in image quality assurance by reviewing assets for visual consistency and identifying discrepancies before publication.
- Upload, organize, and maintain digital assets within internal content management systems.
- Ensure product imagery and supporting assets are properly cataloged and associated with the correct products.
- Maintain and update product-related information within Google Sheets and internal systems.
- Perform basic spreadsheet functions including lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), filtering, sorting, and data validation.
- Verify product information and digital assets for completeness and accuracy before publication.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience in digital imaging, photo retouching, image production or a related creative role
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Any experience with digital imagery/retouching like: Image masking, Layer management, Color correction. Compositing. Texture application is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital image quality, composition, lighting, color consistency, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of assets while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including lookups, sorting, filtering, and data validation.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
